Debutant hero Deepak's maiden film 'Shishya' has completed shooting and it is at the re-recording stage says producer Rekha Divakar. At the media briefing the producer Ba Ma Harish, Rekha Divakar, director Vasu and lyricist cum music director Nagendra Prasad were present at Green House restaurant recently. Three songs of the film were screened on this occasion.

'Shishya' is for family viewing. I have been in the cinema field since 1983 directed more than 8 films indepdently. But 'Shishya' is different on many grounds says promising director Vasu addressing the media.

In my first venture as hero I have scope for action, sentiments and comedy says Deepak. He is pinning high hopes on this film. Deepak is working hard at the gym center, learning swimming, martial arts and horse riding to make use of it in his forthcoming film.

Producer Rekha Divakar is happy after viewing the rushes of the film. She has plans to release the film by December. 'Shishya' has already got offers from Hyderabad Karnataka for the release.
