It is not new for new-age actresses to perform stunts in the films. For the recently released Bollywood film Blue, if Lara Dutta had tough time learning to perform with sharks in under water sequences, Priyanka Chopra underwent physically taxing activities and rigorous training for Don. And Aishwarya Rai underwent Karate training and sword fight training for The Last Legion and Jodhaa-Akbar.

Shriya Saran, the South Indian heroine, is walking in the foot steps of these lady superstars.

Recently, she learnt a crash course in scuba diving in the Andaman islands, not for any of her forthcoming film but for the sheer pleasure of it!

Shreya said, Scuba diving in the Andamans is a once in a life time experience. I loved every moment of it! She added, 'It was so amazing and the corals there are a wondrous sight. If we thought, she only had fun from all that we could not be more wrong.

For Shriya felt that it required to put a lot of effort. Despite being aware of the odds, why did she opt for a crash course in scuba diving? She was curious to know the patterns of risk-taking, we guess.
