Shiney is hoping to shine bright in Hollywood

Actor Shiney Ahuja has a reason for his broad smile nowadays - he's on his way to Hollywood! The actors good looks, shy smile and understated acting has attracted the attention of director James Ordonez, who has cast him as a lead opposite acclaimed actor Val Kilmer. Shiney has been signed on for Silver Cord, a romantic sci-fi thriller. But instead of playing the conventional role of an Asian in an American set up, Shiney is going to be playing an American!
Silver Cord is being produced by Mark Canton (of 300 fame), Michael Shane and Anthony Romano, who produced Catch Me If You Can. Michael and James both claim to have been blown away by Shiney's performance in Gangster, Life...in a Metro and Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi. His calm and composed acting confirmed him as their lead actor.Silver cord, in metaphysical literature, is a term referring to the connection between the physical body, astral body, and Higher Self.
