Talented actor Shiney Ahuja of ‘Gangster’ and ‘Hazaron Khwahishen Aisi’ fame is known for his acclaimed skills and dedication to his performance. And he took this dedication one step further believing in the “truthfulness of the moment” while acting. In shooting extremely emotional scenes for his film ‘Zindaggi Rocks’ which required tears in his eyes, when Director Tanuja Chandra told him to use glycerin, he refused.

She then told him that tears were required and he needed to be sure that he would cry in the scene! He assured her that there would be tears, and sure enough, the minute the camera was rolling, tears flowed out of Shiney’s eyes like an overflowing river. A touching moment was shot and ironically tears brought a huge smile on the face of the unit members.

Shiney Ahuja shall also be seen in another emotional draining role in Mohit Suri’s ‘Woh Lamhe’ which is most probably releasing the same day as ‘Zindaggi Rocks’.
