Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra announced on social media that they're welcoming a new member to their family, a baby daughter who has been named Samisha. Shilpa Shetty had also posted a photo of Samisha's hand.

Shilpa captioned it "Our prayers have been answered with a miracle... With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house." Shilpa also explained the meaning of her daughter's name"'Sa' in Sanskrit is 'to have' and 'Misha' in Russian stands for 'someone like God.' You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi - and complete our family."

Shilpa Shetty and businessman Raj Kundra married in 2009 and have a son Viaan Raj Kundra, who was born in 2012. As far as films are concerned, Shilpa Shetty is making her comeback to films with Sabbir Khan's Nikamma and Hungama 2.
