The fued between Raj Kundra and Sherlyn Chopra has taken a new turn. Raj and his wife Shilpa Shetty have filed a case of defamation of 50 crore rupees against Sherlyn for her "lewd remarks" about them in press and on social media. The couple have also demanded a public apology for the same. This came soon after Sherlyn publicly announced that she has filed a case of sexual harrasment against Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty.

She also reportedly claimed that Raj visited her home on 27th of April 2019 and sexually assaulted her. Raj and Shilpa, in their defamation notice, claimed that Sherlyn is trying to distract attention from the ongoing investigation against her. The notice also read that Sherlyn's remarks are "concocted, false, frivolous and baseless…made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money."

Raj Kundra was arrested couple months ago for allegedly orchestrating a porn production ring. Ever since then, Sherlyn Chopra has been targeting him and his wife Shilpa Shetty through her social media posts and her press statements.
