After the last year's hit 'Shikaar', the same team is back with another project titled as 'Thiruvambady Thampaan'. Mohanlal will not be a part of this project which will have Jayaram doing the lead honours. Padmakumar will direct the movie in the scripts of S Suresh Babu. Sneha who had been a part of 'Shikaar' will also don the female lead of the movie. The pooja of the movie will be held on this 12th at Kochy. Padmakumar also have plans to bring in Tamil-Telugu actor Kishore in the role of the antagonist of the movie. 'Mynaa' fame Thampi Durai will also debut into Malayalam with this project.

Produced by Alex in the banner of Jili cinema, the movie will also have Jagathy Sreekuamr, Nedumudi Venu and Kalabhavan mani in important roles. Ouseppachan handles the music section while Manoj Pillai will be in charge of the camera.
