Actress Sherin has the distinction in Tamil cinema for being the first leading lady of the powerhouse actor Dhanush in his debut movie 'Thulluvadho Ilamai' which was also her debut in Tamil as well. She later on acted in films such as 'Jaya', 'Student Number 1', 'Whistle' 'Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi' and 'Nanbenda'.

Sherin after a hiatus came back into the limelight as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss 3' in 2019 and was the third runner up on the show. She has also participated as a guest in 'Bigg Boss 4' and is very active on social media sharing her pics and videos to her fans.

Sherin's latest video is truly cuteness overloaded as she is seen trying to do her hair and her puppy having other ideas and removing the accessories to style her in his own taste. She has called her pet "My stylist, my makeup artist, my bujji, my cutie pie, my smelly ‘cat’.
