'Shekar', a cop thriller fronted by Dr. Rajashekar, will hit the screens on May 20. The date was today confirmed by director Jeevitha Rajasekhar at an event in Hyderabad.
'Krishna Vrinda Vihari', starring Naga Shaurya in the lead, is also hitting the screens on the same date. Starring Shirley Setia as the heroine, the rom-com has music by Mahati Swara Sagar. Directed by Anish R Krishna, its teaser was released recently. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on April 22. It was postponed recently.
Coming to 'Shekar', the film also features Aathmeeya Rajan, Muskaan Kubchandhani of 'George Reddy' fame, comedian Abhinav Gomatam, Kannada Kishore, Sameer, Bharani, Ravi Varma, and Shravan Raghavendra. Its promotions will be kicked off soon. Two songs from the movie are wooing the listeners already.
The two films belong to two contrasting genres. The Rajasekhar-starrer has crime and murder at its centre. It's a suspenseful film. On the other hand, 'KVV' has romance and drama at its core.
