Shekar Kapur finds his film 'Mr.India' funny now

Released in 1987, Mr.India' starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri, had won several hearts and was awed at for being one-of-its-kind science fiction fantasy for the generation back then. It also made fine impression at the box office and has been a favourite pick of children. Being directed by Shekar Kapur, the film was based on a unique watch, which when worn makes the person invisible.

After many years now the filmmaker got down to watch his old creation and apparently found it quite amusing as well as amateurish. However, he found the special effects much better than the contemporary ones. "Finally saw #Mr India after 25 years. Couldn't stop laughing. Some Vfx were better n more believable in that film than now. I made the film?," tweeted Shekar Kapur.

Currently Shekar Kapur is all charged up for his forthcoming directorial, Pani', which stars Sushant Singh Rajput.
