She keeps growing

This is the third story that we are featuring on Laya in the last seven-odd days. But things are happening so fast in her career that we can't ignore it.

Just as her Adirindayya Chandram is getting ready for release here, she is getting increasingly busy elsewhere --- Malayalam and Tamil, to be precise.

Her first film in Malayalam, Thommanum Makkalum, with superstar Mammooty is a runaway super hit.

The film has been one of the biggest grossers of the season and has outperformed even Vishu releases.

Now that is all old hat. Laya has been signed to play opposite the other biggie in Malayalam ----Mohanlal.

The film named Udayon is fast progressing, and Mohanlal who has a way with his heroines is said to be extremely impressed with Laya.

Laya, according top many industry watchers, is slated for the number one slot in Malayalam.

She is however more realistic and practical, just keen to learn the nuances of acting further. Laya says it has been nice working in Malayalam.

In Tamil, she is signed for a movie named Azhagiya Thamizhae Enurriyae.

So Telugu fans that a true Andhra girl is becoming a famous and popular.

Pity, and ironic, that it has to happen elsewhere.
