She is not playing Mahesh Babu's mother

A few days back, there were reports that heroine Gracy Singh, who acted opposite Nagarjuna in 'Santosham', is going to play Mahesh Babu's mother in his upcoming film, 'Srimanthudu'.

But the latest buzz that Sukanya has replaced her. Jagapathi Babu is playing Mahesh Babu's father in this film.Jagapathi Babu and Sukanya earlier acted together in 'Peddarikam'.

Koratala Siva is the director of this film and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
