Denying the claims that he sexually assaulted journalist E. Jean Carroll 23 years ago, US President Donald Trump stated that the woman was not his type and that he knew nothing about her.
The accusation was made by the journalist in a New York magazine read, “The moment the dressing-room door is closed, he lunges at me, pushes me against the wall, hitting my head quite badly, and puts his mouth against my lips. The next moment, still wearing correct business attire, shirt, tie, suit jacket, overcoat, he opens the overcoat, unzips his pants, and, forcing his fingers around my private area, thrusts his penis halfway — or completely, I’m not certain — inside me. It turns into a colossal struggle. I finally get a knee up high enough to push him out and off and I turn, open the door, and run out of the dressing room.”
“I’ll say it with great respect: Number one, she’s not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, OK? Totally lying. I don’t know anything about her. I know nothing about this woman. I know nothing about her. She is - it’s just a terrible thing that people can make statements like that,” Trump responded to the claims.
