Ace producer Dil Raju's 'Shatamanam Bhavathi', starring Sharwanand and 'Premam' girl Anupama Parameshwaran in lead roles, is currently in its second schedule. The makers have confirmed that the release will be during Sankranthi 2017.
"Bommarillu explored the relationship between a father and a son beautifully. Ten years after its theatrical release, we are announcing a movie that will explore the dynamics of the relationship between a grandfather and a grandson. We are expecting Shathamanam Bhavathi to bring our banner the same kind of accolades that Bommarillu did", Dil Raju says.
The director Vegesna Satish has previously directed 'Ramadandu' and 'Dongalabandi', besides writing big-ticket films like 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Ramayya Vasthavayya'. "The first schedule has been completed and the second schedule will go on until the end of November. The movie is being shot in Hyderabad and around the picturesque locales of Godavari districts," the makers have revealed.
Music-directed by Mickey J Meyer, it is cinematographed by Sameer Reddy. Madhu is the editor. Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are there, just as they were in 'Bommarillu'.
Releasing the first look, it's announced that the teaser will be out today at 6 p.m.
