With scores of successful films for quite a few directors a well educated director Shashank has started his own banner ‘Shashank Cinema’ at Mahalakshmi Layout and his mentor Dr Hamsalekha, Nadabrahma inaugurated the office by lighting the lamp. Actor Ajay Rao, Rishi, Dilip Prakash, Uday Mehta, G Gangadhar and others visited the office to bless ‘Shashank Cinemas’.
 
Shashank beginning from ‘Sixer’ made films such as ‘Moggina Manasu, Krishna Love Story, Bachchan, Jarasandha, Krishna Rukku, Mungaru Male 2 etc. He is launching the new film ‘Thayige Thakka Maga’ on November 1 in his banner.
 
Thayiga Thakka Maga stars Ajay Rao in lead role, the second and third films of Shashank features Rishi of Operation Alamelamma and Dilip Prakash of ‘Crazy Boy’ fame. Shashank is giving opportunity for new directors of these two films after his completion of ‘Thayige Thakka Maga’ – a title of Dr Rajakumar film in the past is repeating again in Shashank Cinemas.
