3 Hindi actors roped in for Nivin Pauly's Moothon

The makers of Geetu Mohandas' new project 'Moothon' starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role, have roped in 3 Hindi actors to play pivotal roles in the movie. Shashank Arora, of Titli and Brahman Raman fame, Sobitha Dhulipala of Raman Raghav 2.0 fame and Harish Khanna of Wasseypur and Kaminey fame are part of the cast.

Apart from the above-mentioned cast, ''Moothon will also have Sujith Shankar, Soubin Shahir and Alencier Ley will play pivotal roles. Reportedly, the cast went through an extensive workshop for the film and Geetu seem to be extremely thrilled with their performances.

'Moothon' narrates the story of a 14-year-old-boy who goes out in search of his elder brother. The movie features Nivin Pauly in the role of a character named Mullakoya, an intense character for which the actor underwent special acting classes. Interestingly, Nivin will be using Jeseri dialect in the movie.

Scripted by Geethu Mohandas, Moothon will have dialogues in Malayalam and Hindi. Anurag Kashyap has penned the Hindi dialogues for the movie. Geetu's husband, the National-award winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi handles the direction of photography.

The first schedule of the shoot of 'Moothon' completed in Mumbai and the second schedule of Moothon will kickstart in Lakshadweep in September or October.
