Dream Warrior Pictures headed by S.R. Prabhu is known for consistently churning out films of different genres that seldom fail to grab the audience's attention. The production house's latest film is the Tamil/Telugu bilingual 'Kanam' for which the release date has been announced as September 9th this year.
'Kanam' marks the comeback of Sharwanand to Tamil cinema after a long gap. He gained fame with the Tamil audience through his stunning performance in 'Naalai Namadhe ' and 'Engeyum Eppodhum'. The film is titled as 'Oke Okka Jeevitham' in Telugu. Sujith Sarang as weilded the camera while Jakes Bejoy is the music director, Sreejith Sarang the editor and Satheesh Kumar has headed the art department.
'Kanam' has Shawanand and Ritu Varma as the lead pair while Amala Akkineni plays a pivotal character. Nassar, Ritu Varma, Sathish, Ramesh Thilak, MS Bhaskar and others. The story has a strong scifi element and the team has gone to great lengths to get the visuals authentically in a manner never before seen in South India cinema.
