Critics hero Sharwanand denied doing a role in Ramcharan's 'Rachcha'. Rumours are rife that Sharwanand might act in a special role in Cherry's 'Rachcha' which will go on floors from June 1st. However, Sharwanand clarified that he is not doing any role in this film.

Sampath Nandi is directing this project and Tamannah is the heroine. Since Sharwanand and Ram Charan are good friends, it was rumoured that he will also act in this movie. Sharwanand who was last seen in 'Prasthanam' didn't sign any Telugu film as yet. He is doing a Tamil movie which is being produced by popular director Murugadoss.

Though we are left wondering why Sharwanand hasn't signed any Telugu film after Prasthanam, we are told he is very choosy and signs a movie only if it is an unconventional role and a passionate film making team.
