But in the recent past, success is eluding him. His recent films, 'Satya 2', 'Ko Antey Koti' and 'Nuvva Nena' have failed at the box-office. Though he has been facing failures, he has given chance to a debutante to direct him. Sujeeth, a successful short filmmaker, has directed Sharwanand in the film, 'Run Raja Run'. Vamsi and Pramod, who have earlier produced a super hit film like 'Mirchi' are producing this film on UV Creations banner.

The film is touted to be a romantic thriller and the songs released recently have been received well by the listeners. The visuals in the trailers also look very rich. Sharwanand is very confident that 'Run Raja Run' will fetch him the much needed success and hope this talented actor gets back to winning ways as an actor.
