It has been a terrific collection for Adyaksha' of Sharan in the box office. None of his films from Rambo (100th film) made so much of big news in the box office. Victory and Jai Lalitha have crossed 75 and 50 days while Rambo was 100 days – the pickup in the box office in the initial week was not as huge as Adyaksha'.

It is staggering Rs.8.5 crores collections in the first week – Rs.6.5 crores from 175 theatres in Karnataka, Rs.1.70 crore from TV right and rest from audio business made by the film Adyaksha'.

Sharan is very close to the top four of Kannada cinema in the initial collections. The second week remains very steady for Adyaksha' as Power ***' got deferred by one week. From the third week – that is 29th of August there will be reduction in theatres but it would be more than 70 percent in collection shows the scale of height of this comedy actor.

Tamil film Vadathapadar Vallibar Sangham' is remade in Kannada as Adyaksha', Sharan earlier film Jai Lalitha' was also a remake of Maya Mohini' of Malayalam.

Tarun Sudhir unsung hero of all the four films of Sharan feels the toughest task was releasing the film. My brother director of the film Nandakishore was busy in shooting of Sudeep film in Hyderbad, I have seen closely the trauma faced by the producers Gangadhar and Basavaraj. I really believed in theory lot of hard work paying definitely results. Adyaksha' is an example of it says Tarun Sudhir.

It is not because of me but because of team Adyaksha' has won. Producers should get the credit says Sharan.

The success meet was organized at The Bell Hotel in Bangalore on Monday noon. Sharan, producer Gangadhar and Basavaraj, Tarun Sudhir, Nandakishore, Kari Subbu, Mohan B Kere, Sudhakar, Veena Sunder, Satyajith, Prashanth, Manadip Rai, Chikkanna and Arjun Janya addressed the success meet.
