Senior Janata Dal (U) leader Sharad Yadav, who had been the party president till last year, has strongly condemned the brutal attack which resulted in the murder of a Rajasthan dairy farmer by the so-called cow-protectors.
Khan from Alwar District in Rajasthan had been running a farmhouse of cows and bulls. His mutilated (and tortured) body was found on the railway track last Friday (10th November) with the local press stating that he had been tortured before being shot dead by the so-called cow-protectors. It was also reported that Khan was murdered on the suspicion of abducting cows.
Tweeting on his Twitter account, Yadav said “Khan, who had been transporting cows and calves to another place, had been killed brutally in Rajasthan. It is extremely unfortunate that such incidents have been on the rise recent days. Farmers have been the worst-affected by such inhuman acts. The Centre has grossly failed in checking the recurrence of such incidents!”
