Although Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmii' failed to impress critics and audience as much as it was supposed to, the cast have been appreciated for their performances. Other than the leads Akshay and Kiara, its Sharad Kelkar who's performance people are talking about.

Sharad has been garnering praises for his brilliant act in the movie. In a recent interview, he was asked about the best compliment he received for this particular work to which Sharad replied that it was from his wife. He said, "She is my partner, my guru, she taught me the basic of acting and she told me that I was looking fantastic and she is excited to see what I did. She watched the film and was crying and hugged me saying she is proud of me. I think that was it. That for me was the biggest compliment."
