Minister Durai Murugan’s speech at Shanthnu’s ‘Raavana Kottam’ audio launch goes viral!

Shanthnu is a talented actor and the son of veteran director and actor Bhagyaraj. His upcoming film, ‘Raavana Kottam’, is the most talked about film in his career. On Saturday, the grand audio launch of Raavana Kottam took place in Dubai in the presence of cine stars and politicians.

The movie is directed by Vikash Sargunam of ‘Madhayaanai Kootam’ fame and produced by Thittakdui Kannan Ravi. Shanthnu and Kayal Anandhi played the lead roles in this action flick with Prabhu Ganesan, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, Deepa Shankar, and Aruldoss in key roles. Justin Prabhakaran composed the musical score for Raavana Kottam.

The Raavana Kottam audio launch was one of the big-ticket events of Kollywood, which was held lavishly at the Indian High School in Dubai. The chief guests of the function were: state minister Durai Murugan, Lyca Productions Subaskaran, actors Prasanna, Nasser, Khushbu, Radhika, Meena, Sundar C, Ashok Selvan, Kalaiyarasan, Sathish, Adhav Kannadasan along with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Singer Krrish and musician Rajesh Vaidya performed live at the event. The actors, who were present at the event, stated that they love Shanthnu and that Raavana Kottam will be his big break. Shanthnu was moved by the love the guests showered on him. Minister Durai Murugan and producer Subaskaran jointly launched the music of Raavana Kottam.

At the event, Durai Murugan said, “I am aware of politics but I don’t have much knowledge of cinema. I advised Subaskaran against adapting Ponniyin Selvan as a film but it emerged as a movie representing Tamil culture. The movie became a success because Subaskaran didn’t take my words seriously.”

“Likewise, Kannan Ravi has forayed into the film industry and produced this movie without listening to me. I’m sure that Raavana Kottam will be a huge success as well,” added the senior DMK lover. Also, the movie’s trailer was screened at the audio launch event. The makers have confirmed that Raavana Kottam will have a theatrical release on May 12.
