Actor Shanthanu, the son of veteran screenwriter, director and actor K.Bhagyaraj has acted as a hero in a few films and proved his talent but he is yet to get that break required to establish himself as a bankable hero.
Now he has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming release 'Vaaimai' directed by Senthilkumar. The film also stars comedy king Goundamni in an important character. The promotional stills and trailers were impressive to say the least.
Now we learn that the film will be hitting the screens on September 8, 2016.
'Vaaimai' stars Ramki, Muktha Bhanu. Manj.K.Bharathi, Thiyagarajan. Prithvi Pandiyarajan and Shanthanu's mother Poornima Bhagyaraj. Debutant Augath has rendered the musical score.
It is to be noted that the much expected Vikram-Nayanthara starrer action flick 'Iru Mugan' will also be hitting the screens on the same day.
