Director Maniratnam is all set to produce the upcoming movie Vaanam Kottattum, directed by Dhana, his former associate, in his Madras Talkies banner. Dhana had earlier debuted with the movie Padai Veeran starring Vijay Yesudas and Bharathiraja.

Vaanam Kottattum is a multistarrer that was earlier announced to feature Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Madonna Sebastian, Radhika and Sarathkumar in key roles. Now it has been revealed that the movie will also star Shanthanu and Velaiyilla Pattathari fame actor Amitash Pradhan.

Vaanam Kottatum went on floors today, and the movie which is co-written by Maniratnam himself. will be presented by Lyca Productions. Vaanam Kottatum was said to feature Aishwarya Rajesh and Vikram Prabhu as siblings, and will mark the debut of singer Sid Sriram as music director.
