Shantanu Bhagyaraj made his acting debut along with his dad in 'Vettiya Madichu Kattu' as a child artist and later became a hero in 'Sakkara Katti' that had music score by A.R. Rahman. His dance moves for the song "Taxi Taxi" is still popular and fans are stunned by his talent. However, Sonu as he is fondly known as has not had the big break he deserves in Kollywood.

Shantanu is currently playing a pivotal role in 'Vaanam Kottattum' directed by Dhana and written and produced by Mani Ratnam which hopefully will give him the much-needed impetus in Kollywood to prove his multi-talents.
