The main shooting part of 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Gemini Kiran and Ravishankar on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits with Padma Bhushan, Mega Star Dr Chiranjeevi in the lead was almost completed.

However, the combination scenes with the heroine and canning of songs are yet to be taken up. Presently the unit is busy in searching for a heroine. It is learnt that Bollywood heroine Karishma Katak was considered and some video shots were taken on her.

However, it was not yet finalized. Very recently, a scene involving Pawan Kalyan was shot. After completing all the formalities, it was planned to release the film in July.

Devisri Prasad is scoring tunes for film, while Srikanth and Sada are playing special roles.

It is well aware that it is the remake of successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'.
