The final of the just concluded IPL season held at Hyderabad between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians ended with Mumbai Indians winning the match by 1 run, and winning the title for the fourth time, making it the highest. The tense thriller extended till the last delivery of the match.

The match saw Chennai Super Kings opener Shane Watson come good after a rough season without any big knocks, as he struck form and scored a much needed 80 runs taking the  team almost close to a win, and it must be noted that even in the 2018 finals he scored a massive century.

While his innings was praised by many, little did people know that the player had sustained an injury during the course of the match. It was his team mate Harbhajan Singh who took it to his Instagram account to reveal that Watson had got injured while diving, and with blood coming out from his knee, went on to play with an injured knee and with blood all over his pant.  It was after the match that he got 6 stitches for his injury. This great spirited play of Watson has made cricket fans all over the world emotional, and people are showering praises on Watson.
