Shane Nigam's movie gets a Hindi remake

Recently, we had reported that actor Shane Nigam's critically acclaimed super hit flick 'Ishq 'is getting a Tamil remake. 'Pariyerum Perumal' fame Kathir will play the lead role done by Shane Nigam. Now, the latest that we hear is, the movie will be remade in Hindi as well. Director-producer Neeraj Pandey is bankrolling the Hindi remake.
Reportedly, the scripting of the Hindi version is complete and the makers are finalizing the cast. Aamir Khan’s son Junaid is likely to make his Bollywood debut with the film. 'Dasvidaniya', 'Bajatey Raho' movie fame Sashant Shah will be directing the flick. More details are awaited.
On the other side, actress Ann Sheetal, who played the female lead in the original, has been signed up for the Tamil remake as well. Produced by Eagle Eye productions, the Tamil version of 'Ishq' will be directed by Shiv Mohaa of 'Zero' fame. It is being said that the film is in the final stages of pre-production and is expected to go on floors soon. Official details to follow soon!
'Ishq' revolves around a young couple, who are mentally and physically harassed by two men, while on a road trip, that puts their love to test. The movie questioned the patriarchal mindset of society and moral policing. Starring Shane Nigam and Ann Sheetal in the lead roles, the movie also featured Shine Tom Chacko and Leona Lishoy in supporting roles. Written by Ratheesh Ravi and directed by Anuraj Manohar. Ishq was produced by Mukesh R Mehta, AV Anoop, and CV Sarathi under the banner AVA Productions.
