Shamna Kassim, the dancer turned actress was seen in Mollywood after a big gap in Rajesh Pillai's 'Mili'. Shamna played the role of a close friend of the lead character played by Amala Paul. But now Shamna has come out with allegations that director Rajesh Pillai cheated her by chopping off her portions from the film.

Shamna stated in her deep disappointment that Rajesh Pillai narrated a totally different script to her, which made her impressed on the project. She have even backed out from her other language projects and dance programs to be a part of Mili. But in the final cut, Shamna found the film totally different from what was narrated to her.

Shamna who made her acting debut with Kamal directed 'Manju Poloru Penkutti',later appeared in some popular movies and has shared screen with the popular actors, including Mammootty and Mohanlal. She played the lead role in the erotic classic movie Chattakkari. But the movie could't fetch the applause from the audience, and Shamna was forced to take a break from filmdom.
