It has been a crazy day on social media, with the hashtag #ShameOnKaranJohar trending worldwide on Twitter. Reason? The anger of Shah Rukh Khan's die-hard fans. The fanboys and fangirls of the Bollywood Badshah have turned into merciless trolls on Friday because Karan Johar liked a pro-Akshay Kumar tweet that also abuses SRK!

The controversial tweet compares the collections of 'Zero' and 'Kesari'. It says that Akshay is a bigger star than SRK on this basis.

Karan liked the tweet but he has since claimed that it was all because of a technical snag. He added that weird things are happening on Twitter.

Perhaps shocked by the worldwide trend, Shah Rukh chipped in to defend Karan. "I hate clarifications on social media. Karan Johar is technologically challenged but has other good qualities like his taste in clothes!? Just like Life, Twitter doesn’t come with instructions, so mistakes are natural....and also he has fat fingers. Go easy all, Make Lov not War...it’s more fun," the actor tweeted out.
