Actress Shalini Ajith Kumar who rules the hearts of many youths in the early 2000s quit the showbiz after her wedding to the Ultimate star of Indian cinema, Ajith Kumar. But the latest report stated that that actress is making a comeback after 21 years.
While the fans were eagerly waiting to witness their favourite actress on screen after a long gap, now the publicist of Ajith Kumar has cleared the air. He has stated that the reports are mere rumours and that Shalini is not making a comeback in PonniyinSelvan.

Shalini fell in love with Ajith Kumar on the sets of Amarkkalam and married him in the year 2000. Since then she had been staying away from the movies. Shalini's last film 'Priyatha Varam Vendu’ starring Prashant. was released in the year 2001.
