The Thala-Thalapathy fans war is one of the fiercest in the whole world, especially on the internet. Not a day passes without either side trolling the other and competing for the top trending hashtags. However, the fact remains that Ajith and Vijay are very good friends off-screen and their families also bond together which even SAC and Shobha Chandrasekhar have shared in interviews.

A few rarely seen pics have become viral now on the internet which was taken on Sangeetha Vijay's first visit to a film set of her husband. Vijay and Sangeetha got married on August 25th 1999. The shooting that was taking place was 'Kannukkul Nilavu' directed by Fazil with Vijay and Shalini in the lead supported by Dhamu, Charlie and others.

The photos show that director Fazil and his crew arranged a celebration in which they garlanded both Vijay and Sangeetha and made them sit together as if in a reception. Shalini is seen bonding with Sangeetha and also applauding the couple. Clear proof that the wives of the two megastars of South Indian cinema go back a long way as well.

Shalini and Ajith fell in love in the same year while shooting for their film 'Amarkalam' and got married a few months after Vijay and Sangeetha on April 24th 2000. Thalapathy and his wife attended the wedding and their true feelings towards each other is very much evident.

The Thalapathy Vijay fans are meanwhile eagerly awaiting the release of 'Master' which could arrive at the end of this year if the coronavirus slows down. Thala Ajith fans have to wait longer as only fifty percent of the shooting of their idol's 'Valimai' is complete and the rest will have to be shot in safe circumstances.
