Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's 'Shakti' directed by A.Priyadharshini is a much anticipated movie after her riveting performances in 'Tharai Thappattai' and 'Vikram Vedha'.
The movie's first look was recently released which created a frenzy among the fans with her crop cut bold looks. The trilingual movie is set to make its release in Tamil , Telugu and the Malayalam versions.
After the first look was released, it was touted that Varalaxmi will enact the role of a fearless fighter with elements of travel infused in the story. The makers of the action thriller are still in talks with deciding the antagonist for the film and it is expected that the decision will be announced shortly.
This film also marks the entry of Varalaxmi's sister Pooja Sarathkumar as a stylist and she seems to have already proven her mettle going by the first look of the film.
The film is being bankrolled by Paper tale Pictures and more information regarding the release of trailer and other details could be expected shortly.
