His combination with Goan beauty Ileana with Meher Ramesh as the director, Aswini Dutt as producer clubbed with Manisharma music is naturally the most awaited film this season.
With over 500 technicians working relentlessly to make this movie, Shakthi is touted as this year's biggest budget movie.
The story revolves around Shakthi Peethas and NTR Junior is seen sporting five different looks in this VFX packed action thriller. A semi periodic film which has shades of Jagadeka Veerudu and Mr India, Shakthi is releasing on March 30th, at a time when there are hardly any films in theatres which is a great advantage.
The tracks 'Thaliya Thaliya..' with fast and Southie beats, 'Yamaga Unde...' and 'Surro Surru..' have evoked good response on the audio racks.Sources say NTR charged a bomb for this film and Ileana too charged over Rs 1.5 crore remuneration for this film.
If this movie clicks, NTR will cement his position as one of the biggest crowd pullers at the Telugu cinema box office and hence he is leaving no stone unturned to promote this film. He for the first time danced at his audio launch and released a song. However the trailers were not as impressive as Nandamuri fans expected it to be.
