The affects of World Cup cricket are clearly visible on showbizz and Tollywood is no exception. Junior NTR'S film 'Shakthi' which was to release on March 30, will now hit the screens two days later.

Film Nagar sources say the reason is — India-Pakistan cricket match which will be held on March 30th at Mohali. The unit waited for India-Australia match results, and as it became clear that India would win and then play Pakistan, Tarak is believed to have asked his producers to release the film after two days.

"We have spent a bomb on this film and openings are important. We waited for the India-Australia match, and once it was clear that India is going to win, to play with Pakistan, we shifted the release date as the entire nation will be watching," the production house explained.

Meanwhile, the film crew is yet to kickstart aggresive campaigning for the movie even as the release is just a week away.
