Shakeela in Mohanlal's film

The shooting of Anwar Rasheed's Chotta Mumbai which has Mohanlal in the lead role is fast progressing in Kochi. Bhavana plays an auto driver and Mohanlal plays Vasco De Gama alias Munnabhai. The star cast includes Jagathy Sreekumar, Siddique and Indrajeet.

Shakeela, the yesteryear glamour actress, makes a special appearance in the movie. Sai Kumar plays Mohanlal's father, who wants his son to become a hero, so named him Vasco De Gama.

Anwar Rasheed is planning to release Chotta Mumbai for this Vishu. Mohanlal has reduced his weight to look young and trim in the movie.
