'Shakeela' First Look is 'gold', literally

Shakeela First Look is gold, literally

Iconic actress Shakeela's biopic is being made in Hindi. Bollywood diva Richa Chadda (of 'Fukrey', 'Ram Leela', 'Masaan', 'Sarbjit' and 'Main Aur Charles' fame) is playing the titular role in this film titled 'Shakeela'. It's directed by Indrajit Lankesh.

Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, its First Look is out. The lead actress is seen in gold ornaments in the poster. 'Not a porn star' is the caption. It will hit the screens in either April or May 2019.

The film reportedly tells the story of Shakeela right from her childhood. How she rose up to superstardom in Kerala in her own right will be exciting to watch for many. One only hopes there won't be any titillation in the movie.
