Shakeela dismisses death rumours

It has been rumoured that Shakeela, the yesteryear onscreen sensation, is no more. Nothing is farther from the truth. The multi-lingual actress has dismissed the rumour.

“Greetings to all. I heard some news that I am no more. Of course, not. Nothing like that. I am very healthy and happy and with a big smile. I am thankful for all the care that I am getting in Kerala. I have been getting so many calls and so much love after some person created the false news. The anonymous entity has made you all think about me,” Shakeela said. 

In March, Shakeela introduced her adopted daughter. A few years ago, she had adopted a transgender girl by the name of Milla. Since Shakeela never married, there was this question on fans’ minds as to how she could have a daughter. Shakeela opened up that Milla is an adopted daughter. She was transgender when she was young and has since been brought her up as her own daughter.
