Since the announcement of Vikas Bahl's upcoming film Shaitaan, featuring Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and Madhavan, an air of mystery has surrounded the project. The suspense escalated on Thursday as the makers unveiled a one-minute-plus teaser, offering a glimpse into the spine-chilling nature of the film. Confirming what many speculated from Wednesday's first look release, the teaser reveals Madhavan portraying the ominous character of Shaitaan (evil).
Madhavan's voice-over in the teaser sets an eerie tone as he describes his ability to entice unsuspecting humans. He declares, They say the world is deaf. And yet, they follow every word of mine. I am the darkness and temptation, ruling the nine circles of hell, from sinister prayers to forbidden spells. He continues, I am the poison and cure, a silent witness to all. I am the night, twilight, the universe. I create, sustain, destroy. So beware. They say I spare no one. There's a game... Do you want to play? It has only one rule â no matter what I say, you must not be tempted.
The teaser provides glimpses of voodoo dolls and hints at the film exploring the realm of black magic. Madhavan's sinister smile at the end leaves Ajay and Jyotika visibly apprehensive. Shaitaan is scheduled for release on March 8. While the plot remains under wraps, the lead cast, especially Ajay, has dropped cryptic hints, cautioning against succumbing to temptation in the mysterious game that awaits.
