Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan had announced contributions to the PM cares fund, besides numerous initiatives from his Red Chilies Entertainment and his partners of KKR franchise, Meer foundation and many others to help people affected by Coronavirus.

Appreciating the star's large hearted gesture, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted "Thank you Shah Rukh ji for you kind words. Your generous contribution will touch many lives in this difficult hour. @iamsrk".

In response, Shahrukh Khan tweeted "Sir, you're also from Delhi, give me a command and don't thank me. We will continue to help our brothers and sisters in Delhi. God willing, we'll overcome this crisis soon. More strength, resilience and power to your teams on ground sir".
