Shahrukh likes Saif's girl

She played a meek and nice 'sardarni kudi' in her debut film 'Love Aaj Kal' (2009). However a couple of years down the line, Brazilian beauty Giselle Monteiro has taken a leap forward. From playing a suit-salwar clad Harleen Kaur, she has gone through a complete metamorphosis by turning ultra glam for her second film 'Always Kabhi Kabhi'.

After watching 'Love Aaj Kal', it was Shahrukh who suggested the film's director Roshan Abbas to have a look at Giselle. Though the first time director was apprehensive about her being cast in a role that required her to be someone who would make heads turn with her glamorous persona, Shahrukh insisted that he consider her for an audition at the least, says a source attached to the film.

The results were there to be seen as Giselle showcased a different facet of her persona in the audition.

She turned someone totally opposite to Harleen. Gone was the entire coyness and what she brought to fore was a glamorous side of hers which was fantastic, says Roshan, It was a new Giselle that everyone saw and she was pronto brought on board. There was no reason why we would have let her go.
