Superstar Shahrukh Khan has been away from the silver screen fir a while now but he's planning to make a grand comeback with the ambitious espionage thriller 'Pathan'. The film was supposed to release in early 2021 but second wave of the pandemic halted the production. Shahrukh recently completed 29 years in the film industry and he marked the ocassion by resuming the filming of 'Pathan'.

The ongoing schedule for the project will last around 2-3 weeks at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai post which the crew will head to foreign location like Russia for further production. Reports suggest that film might hit the screen by Eid 2022. This is a lot of waiting time considering the anticipation around the film.

SRK was last seen in 2018 film 'Zero' so 'Pathan' this will end the biggest gap of his career so far.
