Just like last year, the second wave of the pandemic has proven to be a curse for the movie theatre business. However, several big budget and large scale films have been conceptualized in this time and as soon as the restrictions are lifted, there will be a boom in the movie business. Shahrukh Khan is also set to make his comeback with the ambitious action flick, 'Pathan'. The film starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in supporting roles and Salman Khan in a cameo has already completed filming some parts and is currently awaiting for the lockdown to end.
Reports suggest that next schedule of the film will take place abroad in as many as three European countries. Film has a few keys scenes in Russia as well.
A source close to the development shared, "Pathan will be shot in three European countries. Which these three countries would be and when this schedule will take place, it’s difficult to say right now. It all depends on the rules in the European Union when they plan to travel. Also, producer Aditya Chopra would like all unit members to be fully vaccinated as this can be mandatory. But the pace of vaccination is slow right now, though it’s expected to pick up in a few weeks thankfully. The makers are also considering whether they can get some crew members from Europe itself, who have completed their full dose of vaccination.”
