Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has been known always as a big fan of Superstar Rajnikanth and he had even did a tribute song Lungi Dance, in respect of the actor. As his Kolkata knight riders team is playing IPL, he had an interaction with some team members, including captain Dinesh Karthik.

During the interaction, the host said that Dinesh is a huge fan of Rajinikanth and SRK said that he's the biggest fan of Rajini and asked the cricketer if he knows any funny jokes of Rajini. Dinesh said he can say some of his famous dialogues and when he mentioned Baasha, SRK interrupted and tried to but as he screwed it up, he asked Dinesh to say slowly, and SRK repeated "Naan oru thadava sonna, nooru thadava sonna maadiri."

Shahrukh Khan also promised Dinesh Karthik that if the team kept playing a good game and won the cup, he'll take him to Rajinikanth's house for lunch. When Shahrukh asked if Dinesh had met Rajini, the cricketer said that he had seen him once, but couldn't speak to him. Shahrukh replied that Rajnikanth's family had been kind and sweet to him and that after covid when the team is in Chennai, he'll take Dinesh to Rajnikanth's house.
