On the ocassion of Shahrukh Khan's birthday this Wednesday, makers of 'Pathan' treated fans by sharing the teaser of their much anticipated film. While most of the people were elated to finally get a glimpse of Shahrukh Khan in this ruthless and action packed avatar, there were some who were promoting the boycott trends. Apparently, these people have a grudge against big Bollywood production houses and mainstream actors which is why they want to boycott 'Pathan' just like they did 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.
Earlier this year, films like 'Laal Singh Chaddha', 'Atrangi Re', 'Samrat Prithiviraj' etc have faced huge losses because of boycott trends and now Shahrukh's 'Pathan' is also facing a similar problem.
Soon after the 'Pathan' teaser came out, a user wrote, "#BoycottBollywood forever After 3 @yrf flops comes another one..Keep trying..” Another one stated, "We celebrate festivals, we celebrate our own culture, we celebrate our life traditionally now… No space to celebrate #Pathaan. #BoycottBollywood.”
Some user also accused makers of copying MCU and Hrithik Roshan's war. These comments read, "Marvels movies ka cut and paste work hai bass.
#boycottPathaan" and "Pathaan teaser was just the extended cut of Hrithik’s War.
Stop overhyping a cringe teaser just because it has Srk on it.
#Pathaan #boycottPathaan."
Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, 'Pathan' is set to release on 25th if January 2023.
