Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan to join forces for this exciting project

Back in 2003, actors Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan shared screen in the film 'Kal Ho Na Ho' which turned out to be one of the most iconic romantic films of Bollywood. Now two decades after that team up, Shahrukh and Saif might collaborate once again. However, much to the dismay of fans, they won't be sharing screen in this one. The latest buzz suggests that Saif Ali Khan might play the lead in one of Shahrukh Khan's upcoming production ventures.

Reports suggest that the film will be a dark investigative drama featuring Saif as a cop. A report in Peeping Moon read, “The film is said to be an investigative drama and will star Saif Ali Khan in the role of a cop. It is a suspenseful thriller about a gruesome murder case and has tentatively been titled Kartavya. Pulkit, known for Bose: Dead or Alive, has been brought on board to direct this film, which also stars Sanjay Mishra and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, known for her cop role in the Netflix crime drama Soni. The filmmaker has already started pre-production and will begin shooting in the first week of February.”

Coincidentally, Saif portrayed a cop in his last film 'Vikram Vedha'. He will soon be seen playing the antagonist in Om Raut's Ramayan adaptation 'Adipurush'. SRK, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his much anticipated comeback project 'Pathan'.
