Today another award ceremony will take place on a grand scale. But this is not the usual glam-sham award function, but India’s prestigious ceremony held in the name of our former Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi.

The 12^th Rajiv Gandhi National Awards that is held every year to commemorate his birthday, this time will take place at the National Centre for Performing Arts, Mumbai.

It is said that several well known personalities from different fields will attend the ceremony. On the filmy front, stars like Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Mahima Chowdhary, Esha Deol, Raju Shrivastav, Vishal Shekhar and many others will perform on the award eve. Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will bag the Best Actor and Best Actress in the cine category, along with several other winners in different categories.
