One can simply expect the unexpected from B-Town’s heartthrob Shahid Kapoor who knows how to win ladies’ hearts. Recently at the Filmfare awards the actor was seen rushing to the stage on a spontaneous thought - simply to make one of his family members feel special.

When his stepmom Supriya Pathak bagged the Best Actor Award in Supporting Role (Female) for ‘Ram-Leela’, Shahid was seen sprinting towards the stage and warmly congratulated her and rushed back.

It was a sweet unexpected gesture from the young lad to which Supriya and the audiences ooh-ed. It is the first award Supriya has bagged and it was a very special moment for her. Even Pankaj Kapoor who was present at the event was surprised and elated with Shahid's reaction.

Incidentally, Pankaj and Shahid share an extremely close bond. Shahid often seeks his advice and discusses his roles with him.

The actor will be next on screen with ‘Haider’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor.
