'Shaandaar' actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput are currently on cloud9, as they are expecting their first child. And this is confirmed news from a friend of the duo. According to media reports, the friend of the couple said that, "She is in her second trimester, halfway through her pregnancy."

There were rumours in the industry that Mira was probable pregnant and was also seen with a baby bump at the year's Lakme Fashion Week. She looked gorgeous and stunning walking the ramp for designer Anita Dongre. Mira was later photographed on the red carpet in Masaba Gupta creations. It was only when Mira's friend cum designer Masaba kept us guessing, when she posted a pic of the two and wrote: "Two M's and a Bum".

Shahid and Mira were married in a private ceremony in New Delhi on July 7 and will soon be seen in filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon'.
